The government have accorded administrative approval for taking up
infrastructure works in 9 identified components in (15,715) schools under Mana Badi
Nadu Nedu Programme Phase-1.
2. Among them, (510) schools are taken up through NABARD assistance. In those
schools, nine (9) components to NABARD Schools(510) should be taken up on priority
through Contractor or Parents’ Committee wherever the contractors have not come forward.
If funds are available even after completing the works of these 9 components, then only the
works of construction of Additional Class Rooms should be taken up.
3. If required, change the agreement by entering into a supplementary agreement.
4. Wherever Additional classrooms are required to be taken up go vertical if the column
structure is available or 14” strong walls are available.
5. Care should be taken to not to misuse available land which should be used for
playground and assembly ground.

Anganwadi is located in schools – Taken up under Naadu Nedu –orders –

2019.
In Naadu Nedu Phase-1 ( 15,715) Schools are taken up with 9
components. Out of these school campuses, (3,428) Anganwadi centers (list
enclosed) are co-located. Necessary repairs and other provisions to these
Anganwadi centers should also be taken up under Naadu Nedu phase-I.
2. The Amount of Rs.1.5 Lakh may be used for infrastructure development of The Anganwadi portion under Naadu Nedu Phase-I.
3. For this revised administrative sanction of 1.5 lakhs may be obtained from
District collector. The Anganwadi wise sanction details may be furnished to this office
for releasing necessary grants.
