The attention is invited to the subject and references cited and are hereby
informed that improving the quality of education and enhancing student learning has
become the prime focus and key priority of educational policy initiatives in the State.
School leadership, as highlighted by research evidences, has been found to play a
significant role in improving student learning and learning outcomes.
In this connection, the District Educational Officers of East Godavari, West
Godavari, Krishna, Prakasam and YSR Kadapa are hereby informed that the National
Centre for School Leadership (NCSL) is organizing a 4-day Online Workshop on
Leadership development for improving student learning and learning
outcomes in Government schools on 15th
– 18th
December, 2020 at the
National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), New Delhi.
The participants of the workshop would be heads of government schools
(Primary/Upper primary level) from different States of India. The concept note of the
workshop is herewith enclosed for information. The objective of the workshop is as
follows:-
a. to enable the school heads to understand leadership roles and functions for
improving student learning and learning outcomes.
b. to devise context specific strategies for improving schools to transform them into organizations of learning.
The following Head Masters are hereby nominated for participation in 4-day
Online Workshop on Leadership development for improving student
learning and learning outcomes in Government schools on 15th – 18th
December, 2020 at the National Institute of Educational Planning and
Administration (NIEPA), New Delhi through virtual mode.
