Content Creation Training – Conduct of three day-State Level Training of
Teachers(ToT) from 06.01.2021 to 08.01.2021 with 136 SRGs of all Districts
in the State – Certain Instructions – Issued – Reg.

All the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators in
the State are hereby informed that the DIKSHA (Digital Infrastructure for
Knowledge Sharing) is a National Platform for Teachers & Students
developed by NCTE-MHRD, GoI, launched by the Hon’ble Vice-President on 5th
September, 2017. The major verticals of DIKSHA are Teaching and Learning
Content (TLC), Assessments, Online Courses for Teacher Professional
Development (TPD), etc. The objective of QR code enabled Energized Textbooks
(ETB) is to provide learners easy access to more information using teacher
made content and free online resources that stimulate and engage learners and
teachers.
Further informed that during 2018-19: 36 Non-Language Textbooks from Classes 6
to 10 were printed with QR codes in both English and Telugu Mediums. Later, in
the academic year 2019-20: State has printed QR codes in 20 Language Textbooks
(i.e., Telugu, Hindi, English & Urdu) of Classes-6 to 10. Thus on the same
lines, in the present academic year – 2020-21, all the Primary Text Books from
Classes 1st to 6th are to be energized.
Therefore, so as to create awareness and hands-on-experience on DIKSHA Portal
and Mobile Application and to build capacity in e-Content creation teachers,
DIET faculty and DIET Student Teachers at District Level, the State Project
Director, Samagra Shiksha, AP, Amaravati is pleased to accord permission for
conduct of State Level Training of Teachers (ToT) – Hands-on-Training from
06.01.2021 to 08.01.2021 to the participants placed at Annexure-II. The agenda
with detailed schedule is placed at Annexure-I. The list of Master Trainers is
placed at Annexure-III and they are requested to attend the ToT program on
05.01.2021 at DIKSHA of Samagra Shiksha, AP, Amaravati
The Hon’ble Minister for Education, GoAP and the Principal Secretary
to Govt, SE Dept., GoAP will participate in the Training program. Further
informed that the venue of the State Level ToT Program is at KBN College,
9-42-104 KT Road Opp. Srinivasa Mahal, Kothapet, Vijayawada, Andhra
Pradesh-520001. The participants (listed in Annexure-II) are requested to
attend the programme with their (personal) laptops at the said venue before at
09.00 AM on 06.01.2021. For any inquiry please contact Sri Pokuri Srinivasa

A team of 6 members of ETB from each of the District will be trained. A total
of 6 Master trainers are identified to train the SRGs on DIKSHA and FOSS tools
mentioned in the said time schedule of Annexure-I. The details of participants
nominated for the said training programme is placed at Annexure-II.
The TA and other charges to the participants shall be paid as per norms at
O/o.SPO, AP, Amaravati after submission of bills/vouchers in proper format to
this office. The expenditure to be incurred shall be met from the Project
Management cost of Samagra Shiksha.
In view of the above, all the District Educational Officers in the State are
hereby requested to depute the teachers (details placed at Annexure-II &
III) under their control for their participation in the State Level Training
of Teachers (ToT) – Hands-on-Training scheduled to be conducted from
06.01.2021 to 08.01.2021 at O/o.Samagra Shiksha, AP, Amaravati for creating
awareness on DIKSHA Portal and Mobile Application and to build capacity in
e-Content creation by teachers. Also they are requested to issue instructions
to the participants that to attend the said workshop without fail.
The TA to all the participants shall be paid as per norms at O/o.SPO, AP,
Amaravati after submission of bills/vouchers in proper format to this office.
All the participants are hereby requested to follow the guidelines issued by
Government from time-to-time to curtail the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic
strictly.
