ORDER The attention of all Regional Joint Directors of School Education and
the District Educational Officers in the State is invited to the reference 6
th & 8 th cited and informed that, the undersigned has accorded permission
for reopening of schools (classes 1st to 10th) as per the orders of the
Government from time to time. Further, in partial modification to the orders
issued in ref 6 th cited, it was ordered that schools will function full day
for Classes 1st to 10th daily as per the timings prescribed in SCERT Academic
Calendar. 2. However, in order to ensure uniform timings for all category of
schools and also to ensure that the precious morning hours of the learners are
fully utilized in the schooling, the following revised school timings shall be
followed with immediate effect.
1 Primary 09.00 AM to 03.30 PM
2 Upper Primary 09.00 AM to 04.00 PM
3 High Schools 09.00 AM to 04.00 PM
3. There will be staggered timings for lunch break and the same will be
communicated separately by SCERT along with detailed time tables.
4. In view of the above, the under mentioned officers are requested to issue
necessary instructions to the field level functionaries to follow the above
school timings with immediate effect.
5. They shall further ensure strict enforcement of guidelines/ Standard
Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all activities in the schools issued by the
Union/ State Governments for strict compliance on COVID-appropriate behaviour
such as, wearing of masks by all children, teachers and non-teaching staff,
keeping physical/social distancing, frequent washing of hands, etc., in the
schools without fail.
