As per the references read above, the Government of Andhra Pradesh,
Department of School Education focused on improving foundational reading
literacy skills among students of class III to IX in all Primary, Upper Primary
and High Schools in the State. In this regard, “We Love Reading” Campaign
is being implemented to promote book reading culture among the students in
schools as well as at home
In this connection, Department of School Education has taken initiation
for strengthening of school libraries with suitable books for students and
teachers. For this purpose we need to obtain the list of suggestive library
books from the stake holders in the given Google form.
Hence, all the DEOs, APCs in the State are requested to communicate the Google form link to all the stake holders such as H.Ms, Teachers, Principal
DIETs, IASE,CTE with instructions to suggest the list of books for school
libraries.
Further they are requested to monitor with the Dy.Eos, MEOs, H.Ms &
Principal DIETs to obtain the information in the given Google form link and
submit the same to the undersigned by 31.03.2021.
