Director, Samagra Siksha, Andhra Pradesh, Amaravathi.
All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all the District
Educational Officers in the State are informed that a classroom practice of
teaching learning called Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) has
developed by the Pratham Education Foundation. The objective of TaRL is
to measurably improving language and math learning outcomes for
children in 3 to 5 classes in Andhra Pradesh
The Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) ensures basic foundational
skills for all, with clearly articulated goals for basic reading and math.
Teaching starts at the level of the child rather than at the level of the
grade and simple and engaging daily learning activities that can be
adapted as children progress. Students engage in activities in large
groups, small groups, and individually.
In this connection, it is informed that SIEMAT, O/o State Project
Director, Samagra Siksha along with SCERT, A.P. and Pradham jointly
conducting TaRL Master Trainers Training Programme from 27-06-2022 to
01.07.2022 at ZPHS(G), Patamatalanka, Vijayawada.
The State level 5 day Master Trainers/ Resource Persons training on
TaRL programme focus on developing foundational skills among children
of 3 to 5 classes in all Government schools in Andhra Pradesh.
Therefore, all the District Educational officers are requested to
relieve the identifed Masters Trainers/RPs for 5 day training Programme at
ZPHS(G), Patamatalanka, Vijayawada on 26th July to participate in the
programme scheduled from 27-06-2022 to 01.07.2022. T.A,D.A will be
paid to the participants as per norms.
