MDM: Revision of Material (Cooking) costs w.e.f., 01.10.2022 – Orders – Issued

Sub:- SE Dept., – PM POSHAN – Jagananna Gorumudda(JGM) (Mid Day Meal(MDM)) – Revision of Material (Cooking) costs provided to the Cooks of all Schools in the State under Jagananna Gorumudda (PM POSHAN) w.e.f., 01.10.2022 – Orders – Issued – Reg.

View of Regional Joint Directors of School Education (RJDSEs) and District Education Officers (DEOs) are invited to the cited subject and informed that Government of India, Ministry of Education, New Delhi has decided to increase the cost of material (earlier known as cost of cooking) @9.f. .6% of the existing cost of cooking under PM POSHAN scheme as on 1st October, 2022 for the year 2022-23 and above.

Revised rates of material cost as approved on 01.10.2022 are admissible. Primary and Upper Primary classes in 2022-23 will be as follows:-

Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education(RJDSEs) and the District Educational Officers (DEOs) in the State are hereby informed that the revised material cost provided to the Cooks of all Schools in the State w.e.f., 01.10.2022 as follows:-

i. @Rs.5.45per Student instead of the present cost of @Rs.4.9.f7 per student for Primary school students and;

ii. @Rs.8.17 per student instead of the present cooking cost of @Rs.7.45 per student to Upper Primary/ High School students.

Further informed that additional menu cooking cost of @Rs.0.43 paise per student for Primary classes Students and @Rs.0.40 paise per student for Upper Primary/High schools Students shall be utilized from the HoA of Addl. Menu charges remains same w.e.f., 01.10.2022.
