The attention of the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the state are invited to the reference 2nd cited and it is informed that instructions were issued to open separate Zero Balanced Accounts in Union Bank of India in the name of PM
SHRI.
In this regard, it is informed the Central and State code is to be added while opening the PM SHRI accounts as follows.
PM- SHRI PFMS – IA – 4145 – UDISE – NAME OF THE SCHOOL – District – ESE – AP438.
It is further informed that the MoE, GoI has approved 662 schools (list enclosed) in the state of Andhra Pradesh and issued instructions to create a separate Single Nodal Agency (SNA) account for PM SHRI schools for funding of the PM SHRI scheme.
Therefore the District Educational Ofcers and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the state are requested issue necessary instructions to the concerned PM SHRI school Head Masters to open separate Zero Balance (Joint) Accounts in Union Bank of India as per the above syntax and there shall be a separate account for PM SHRI. Already existing accounts of SMCs like Samagra PFMS account or MBNN account are not to be mapped as PMSHRI account, care should be taken in this regard.
It is further instructed to complete the opening of PM SHRI accounts in the selected 662 schools by 14.07.2023 and furnish the details to this office on or before 15.07.2023.
