SALT Program – Residential Training on Leadership for School Heads Masters

 The Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Ofcers in the state are informed that the state is implementing the School Leadership training programme to the School Heads to develop skills required to empower their school staf to equip children with 21’st century skills. The program aims to improve capacity building of School Heads across state. As part of the training programme, 

1st Batch Residential Training for School Heads of Secondary schools starts from 17-07-2023 to 22-07-2023. Further the remaining 3 batches (residential trainings) at the same venue will be continued (unless any changes which will be informed) upto last week of August 2023 for completion of the secondary School Heads (6712). The remaining School Heads of upper primary and primary residential training will be conducted after completion of secondary level training.

The program aims to improve capacity building of School Heads across state. As part of the training programme, 265 Master facilitators were trained by the SIEMAT – KEF from 17-05-2023 to 24-05-2023 at Heal Paradise, Agiripalli, and Eluru district. Further as part of the leadership training programme the Regional Level training is proposed for 6 days in different batches in residential mode as follows. 1 st Batch Residential Training for School Heads of Secondary schools starts from 17-07-2023 to 22-07-2023. Further the remaining 3 batches (residential trainings) at the same venue will be continued (unless any changes which will be informed) up to last week of August 2023 for completion of the secondary School Heads (6712). 

The remaining School Heads of upper primary and primary residential training will be conducted after completion of secondary level training. Further it is informed that to depute concerned AMOs to the venues for look after the venue arrangements during the training programme and also directed to depute one data entry operator to record the attendance and other minutes of the programme.

Arrangements

The  RJDs, DEOs APCs and training in-chargers shall arrange the following activities for efective conduct of the school leadership training programme at regional level

  •  To provide boarding and lodging facility at the venue (Residential) for around 300 participants (@50 per class room) 6 class rooms.
  • To arrange Power projectors (6) and good audio system (6) for all class room for efective conduct of trainings.
  • The above training in-charges shall stay at venue in all the training days to ensure 100% attendance and fulfll the spirit of training.
  • To involve the master facilitators (15) per each spell well in advance to the training date for pre preparatory activities planned at venue level.
  • To identify and depute School HMs of secondary schools as per instructions given from state ofce to concern venues. and shall not crossed the age above 61 years
  • To issue instructions to the School Heads: First day to report at venue by 7.0 am and last day shall leave the venue afterNobody will be allowed any outside engagement under any circumstances during training programme.
  • No leaves sanctioned during the training programme except longleaves and maternity leave.
  •  To avoid the fake medical evidence for attending the school heads trainings.
  • The concerned location FAOs of district project ofce shall visit the venue and collect the TA form of all participants and furnish to state ofce after scrutini e the bills.
  • The residential training session starts from 8.00 am to 12-00 pm and 12-00 pm to 2.00 pm lunch break and afternoon session starts from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
