It is to inform that all the District Educational Officers in the state as
per the reference cited the National Council of Educational Research and
Training (NCERT) is offering a one year Diploma Course in Guidance and
Counselling (DCGC) through distance-cum-face-to-face mode for preparing
teacher counsellors for schools and allied settings. Teachers, teacher
educators and other personnel from Kendriya vidyalaya (KV), Jawahar
Navodayala Vidyalaya (JNV), Sainik School and State Education
Departments are eligible to apply for the course.
It is further informed that the all the District Educational Officers
are requested to identify and depute teachers who are willing and having
genuine interest and motivation to act as teacher counselors.
Interested teachers may be requested to download the application
from the NCERT Website (www.ncert.nic.in) or from the Institute Website
(www.riemysore.ac.in) and send their application duly forwarded by the
Principal/Deputing Authorities online by clicking on the link
www.ncert.nic.in/notice/circular Diploma Course in Guidance &
Counselling 2022,on or before 5” November, 2021 The selection will be
made through an entrance examination which will be held online.
