The show cause notices were issued by way of online notices
to the teachers for not marked attendance through Biometric during the
month of January 2021,
Government have taken up a number of measures for improvement of learning
outcomes of the students in the state. The programs include strengthening
school infrastructure, providing nutritious and quality mid day meal,
providing teaching learning material to students, providing financial
assistance to poor mothers to send their children to schools. All these
programs require proper functioning of the schools and the regular
attendance of the teachers is a pre requisite for ensuring proper
functioning of the schools.
2. Further in the references cited, the e-Hazar Project (Aadhaar enabled
Bio- Metric Attendance System (AEBAS) is being implemented in all High
Schools, Upper Primary Schools, Teacher Training Institutes, School
Education administrative offices – Commissioner School Education, Regional
Joint Directors, District Education officers, Deputy Education Officers,
Mandal Education offices, etc. e-Hazar was initiated in August 2016. The
biometric attendance teachers captured in real time with Aadhaar
authentication is monitored through dashboards provided in CORE dashboard
and also under Reports link at https://schooledu.ap.gov.in/MIS_DSE/
