1) Attention of the Education Officers in the state is invited to the
reference cited, wherein the Managing Director, Sports Authority of AP has
informed that Sports Authority of India under the Khelo India Scheme
aims to promote culture of sports in our country. On this note, it has
launched ‘e-Pathshala’, an online platform, to provide level based multi
sports training to all enthusiasts and mentor interested PE teachers
irrespective of their location.
2) Further, it is informed ‘e-Pathshala’ enables PE teachers and coaches
to an e-learning online platform enabling them to subsequently provide
standardized coaching to children, students in their region/ school without
being constrained by lack of access to formal on-ground training.
3) The project will be rolled out in a phased manner with active
involvement of the state and Khelo India solicits your support by
requesting registration of schools & their PE teachers/ community coaches
in the state for this initiative. It is also requested that all the schools in
the state be persuaded to join this program. The link for the registration
through online is provided in the enclosed letter
4) Therefore, a copy of the reference is herewith forwarded to all the
Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational
Officers in the State and they are requested to take immediate necessary
action accordingly and report compliance.
