All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers and the District Common Examination Board Secretaries in the state are informed that Entrepreneurial Mindset Development Program (EMDP) has been implemented in all Govern.ment schools of Andhra Pradesh last year, With the help of Samagra Shiksha, SCERT- AP, and the EMDP Consortium will continue rolling out the program in the current AY as well, for entire 9th Class students in developing key mindsets of self-awareness, self-belief, grit, and independence, along with 21st-century skills like communication, problem-solving & collaboration through real-world projects.

Further, it isproposed to train the rest of the EMDP teachers of all Government High Schools for two days l.e. from 19/07/2023 to 20/07/2023 by the Mentor Teachers,’ This training will be held on Diksha platform starting with a registration form link (will be active before half an hour)

In this regard Regional Joint- Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers and The District Common Examination Board Secretaries are requested to depute the Mentor Teachers and other teachers for AP EMDP for this AY 2023-24 with an instruction to attend the respective training programs without fail.

The trained teachers in EMDP will train the 9th Class students intheir respective schools from 21st July 2023 in the allotted periodsas per the Academic Calendar 2023-2024 (Lesson plan in Annexure2), and Mentor Teachers will guide the teachers till end of the program. Two consecutive periods of everyFriday will be utilized/dedicated for this program with a total of 25 hoursof classroom sessions and 20 hours of Project work. Refresher trainingwill be provided online by EMDP representatives as required.

In this regard the District Educational officers are requested to provide necessary support like providing the data, approvals for the school visits and release proceedings on your behalf for the effective implementation of the EMDP as and when required. The Operations team and District Managers (Annexure 3), are entitled to utilize the information strictly for this program only and share the program update with the concerned DEOs on bi-weekly basis.
