All the District Educational Officers in the State are aware that Andhra Pradesh has unleashed a new era in School Education by introducing academic and administrative reforms.
The government’s motto is to transform education in government schools to make students globally competitive.
2. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a huge learning loss reported globally. To address the learning gap, and to ensure appropriate class-specific learning outcomes by considering individual differences, blended learning using Digital content is proposed.
3. In this regard, digital infrastructure has been provided to all schools as well and e-content is being provided on various platforms such as YouTube, DIKSHA, Web Portal, DTH and Mobile App. As part of the GoI PMeVIDYA initiative, the State of Andhra Pradesh has been provided certain free to DTH channels and the e-content is being shared with GoI/BISAG and the same is being deployed in those channels. 4.The content is being telecasted from 12.00 a.m. to 11.59 p.m. of the day with repetition on 24X7.
5. Further, the Commissioner, of School Infrastructure and the Commissioner, I& PR addressed the Collectors concerned to bestow their attention on the telecast of the above channels through the cable operations (MSOs) across the district and DTH channels such as TataPlay, AirTel, SunDirect, DISH TV etc.
6. Therefore, all the District Educational Officers are directed to approach the Joint Collectors concerned and to ensure that the above channels are telecasted through the cable operations (MSOs) across the district and DTH channels such as TataPlay, AirTel, SunDirect, DISH TV etc., and disseminate the channel details along with the numbers to all the parents and teachers for effective utilization of this provision
