These are the Guidelines to fil the Udise . Field wise clarifications
given in detailed manner
Location of the School :
This refers to the nature of the geographical area where the school is
located. For example, if the area where the school is located is covered
by a Municipal Corporation it would be considered in Urban Area,
otherwise, the school should be considered to be in Rural Area. If RURAL
then
(a) Revenue Block /CD Block (As Per LGD):
(b) Village Name (As Per LGD):
(c) Name of Gram Panchayat (As Per LGD) If URBAN then
(d) Urban Local bodies (As per LGD): (Municipalities / Nagar Panchayat
etc.)
(e) Ward Name (As Per LGD):
CD Block/ Mandal/Taluka Name:
Normally, a District is divided into various Revenue Blocks (also
known as Community Development (CD) Block). In some States, it is also
known as Mandal or Taluka. It is recommended to write the complete name of
Block.
